Inclusion in the classroom

By: Erfan Pourmohammadi When: Wednesday 22 March | 15.00–16.30h Location: Museumpark - MP. H01.038
Are you able and allowed to be yourself completely?
Do you feel that you are seen and heard at school? Can you be yourself at your study programme? Or is a cancellation culture part of the school's culture and do you regularly think: "Never mind, they don't understand at all"
It has become apparent that feeling safe is hugely related to an inclusive learning and working environment. When you feel safe, you also dare to show yourself. But what is inclusion in the classroom? How does it work? Who is responsible for achieving it? What can you do? What can Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences do? How can it be done differently?
In an informal meeting, we want to discuss these topics. Together, we will try to find answers or perhaps formulate more questions that we can start working on. Our moderator will be Erfan Pourmohammadi. Besides teaching Social Work, he is an enthusiastic diversity & inclusion trainer involved in quite a few inclusion initiatives at Rotterdam University of Applied Sciences.
